What is Model UN?

Model UN is an extracurricular activity that gives students the opportunity to simulate United Nations committees as delegates representing various countries. Delegates present their ideas to the rest of the committee, form blocs based on their positions, and propose different solutions to combat global issues. Exceptional delegates are recognized with coveted awards at conferences. Model UN clubs offer high school students the chance to develop life-changing skills, become more involved in the local and global communities, and involve themselves in an academic and enjoyable extracurricular.
